Bearing Piles
Bearing piles are driven vertically and used for the direct support of vertical loads. Bearing piles transfer the load through a soft soil to an underlying firm stratum. They also distribute the load through relatively soft soils that are not capable of supporting concentrated loads.
Trench Control use a dual rotary system that simultaneously augers and fills the bearing pile with grouted concrete. An additional reinforced cage is installed for strenght.
Advantages:
- Dual rotary system is much faster as pile casings are not required to sustain the pile wall
- Varying depths can be achieved unlike set depth of pre-cast piles
- Full design service to asertain loading requirements
